Lew and Ginny Gage will portray CIVILIANS OF GETTYSBURG - 1863 on Thursday, May 9, at 7 p.m. at the Soldiers Memorial Building on North Park Street in Lebanon. The Gages have been studying and visiting the Gettysburg Battlefield for more than 30 years and have been presenting their program to fascinated audiences throughout New England. Presented in first person in period dress, they draw upon original diaries and reminiscences of civilians living in Gettysburg during the summer of the infamous battle. Ginny will also talk about one of the well-known New Hampshire nurses who went to Gettysburg to care for the wounded.
